Posture is the best indicator of the body's muscular health. Variances in tone and balance are evident in posture and can cause serious dysfunction and pain. The Pilates Method solves postural dysfunction quickly and easily by awakening dormant muscles and relieving over-strained ones. Your body will be worked as a unit to ensure balance and even tonality. You will notice a difference after just one session. Pain and dysfunction will disappear and excellent posture will become habit.

Inflexibility is a common reason people come to us. It is often the most active people who suffer from muscle tightness. In fact, for active adults, inflexibility is the leading cause of injury and pain. Over the last fifteen years the fitness industry has been promoting exercise techniques that shorten and tighten the muscles, creating bulk, with stretching as only an afterthought

We take flexibility seriously. It is critical to looking, feeling, and performing your best. Our technique emphasizes long, graceful movements that promote the lengthening of the muscle fiber, replacing tightness and pain with suppleness and comfort.

Shape and tone are our most popular requests. Time and time again new clients come to us after having tried almost everything else on the market. Frustrated, tired and confused they workout 5-10 hours per week and the only lasting results include bulky shoulders and thighs, tight muscles and nagging injuries.

The Pilates method will not bulk you up. Rather, it emphasizes eccentric muscle contractions (the lengthening portion of the exercise) that create long, lean muscles. In a few short weeks your body will begin to process nutrition more efficiently and exercise will finally yield results.
